I spent eighteen years in the restaurant business before getting into computers but I have retained a passion for anything I cook. With the coming of the latest recession I find myself back in the food industry on a part time basis, fifteen years later. I live in the South Eastern United States where food has a long, deep and romantic history. I love reading about recipes and ingredients that have a background story to tell. I hope this site can provide information, answer questions on cooking; starting with what I know best.
